That's interesting! No, nothing aftermarket installed. I'm wondering if it's just the antenna itself. Did replacing yours fix the issue? And roughly, what did that cost you?

Yep, replacing the antenna sorted it. The workshop diagnosed it as a faulty GPS antenna and replaced it. They said the error memory also pointed to a defective antenna. Based on what you've described, it really does sound like the antenna. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop; they can give you a proper diagnosis before you start throwing parts at it.

Thanks a lot for the insights! A defective GPS antenna seems to be the case for me too. My local workshop quoted around 200€, so I will get it repaired. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

I have a Lexus UX too and had something similar happen. The GPS was completely dead. Do you have any aftermarket electronics installed that might be interfering with the GPS module? Sometimes a dashcam or something plugged into the cigarette lighter can cause weird issues.
