Lexus UX Tire Pressure Sensor Issue

I have a potential issue with my 2021 Lexus UX electric vehicle. The tire pressure indicator signals that the tire pressure is too low, and an error message is displayed. I checked the tire pressure, but the tires appear to be properly inflated. There is also an error stored in the error memory. The car has 110105 km. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hey! I have a UX too, and I had something like that happen. The 'low tire' warning kept popping up even after I inflated them. Was the air valve okay when you checked? Sometimes they get a bit wonky. Could be your TPMS sensor. Same symptoms here: Low tire, air pressure errors...

TPMS is short for Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Each tire has a sensor (usually attached to the air valve) that measures the pressure and sends the data to the car's computer. From what you described, it really sounds like the sensor battery is empty. I had to go to the workshop to have it replaced. That fixed it. I'd say get it checked.
