LFA Electric Seat Failure

My 2010 Lexus LFA with a gasoline engine has a dead passenger electric seat. The OBD reader shows an error, but not the specifics. Fuses look good. Could it be seat wiring, a dodgy switch, or the harness itself?

I had a similar issue with my LFA's seats, and it was a power issue. Have you checked the battery recently? The LFA is super sensitive to voltage drops. It might be worth a look before tearing apart the seat.

Thanks! I hadn't considered the battery. It starts okay, but how did you figure out it was the battery in your case? Any other symptoms?

Mine started okay too, but I was getting other random electrical errors. The dealership found the battery was failing. It could start the engine, but not keep everything else happy. Get your battery tested. If it’s not that, you’re looking at seat wiring, switch, or the harness, which means workshop time. The battery is the cheapest and easiest check!

Okay, good to know! I'll get the battery checked tomorrow. I was quoted 290€ for the repair. Fingers crossed it's the battery. Thanks!
