LFA Headlight Washer Failure
Summary of the thread
The headlight washer and windshield washer system on a 2010 Lexus LFA stopped working, raising concerns about potential causes. Initial thoughts included a clog, but further discussion suggested a defective cable connection or relay might be responsible. The issue was resolved by repairing a defective cable connection of the pump, confirming the suggested cause.

Good question! I didn't notice any sound differences. So if it wasn't blocked, did the system just leak in your case?

Yeah, I suspected a leak at first too, but it turned out to be more than that. Given that the headlight and windshield washers are both affected, it might be a cable connection issue or a defective relay. Honestly, I just took mine to the workshop. Saved me a bunch of time.

Thanks for the help. It was in fact a defective cable connection of the pump, as suggested. Luckily nothing major, repair cost 165€. Appreciate the insight!

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my LFA not too long ago. Does your windshield washer pump sound like it's even trying to work? Mine was totally silent.
