LFA Infotainment Smartphone Connection Issue

Infotainment system on my 2011 Lexus LFA (gasoline engine) is acting up. My smartphone simply will not connect, no matter what I try. I've tried different cables, Bluetooth, everything. The error memory showed an error related to the communication module. Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem with my BMW. For me, the issue was also incorrect pairing with the device. The system was seeing the phone, but not properly authenticating it. Is it a similar issue in your case?

So, your BMW was showing similar symptoms? Did the error memory show the same error? And what did you do to resolve the problem? Maybe that would help me get a better handle on my issue.

Yes, the symptoms were identical: device would not connect and an error was present. I advise you to have it checked in the workshop. It turned out to be a minor software glitch, but I wasn't able to fix it on my own.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop as you suggested, and it turned out to be exactly what you said – a minor software issue related to the pairing process. They refreshed the software, cleared the error, and everything is working perfectly now. The whole thing cost me 45€. I really appreciate your help!
