LFA Overheating Issue

Lexus LFA, 2010, gasoline engine. Getting some engine overheating warnings (157768 km on the clock). Suspect the electric fan isn't kicking in properly. Quick check suggests a possible dodgy cable or plug connection. Anyone else seen this?

Yeah, I had a similar issue with my LFA a while back. Overheating can be a real pain. Was the temperature gauge spiking quickly, or was it a gradual climb?

It's fairly rapid. Noticeable especially in slower traffic, or when idling. Does yours also did that?

Yep, sounds exactly like what I experienced. Turned out to be a faulty connection. Ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quickly.

Cheers, appreciate the insight. Problem confirmed, electric fan impaired due to defective cable and plug connection. Repair cost 95€. All good now.
