LFA Overvoltage Issue

I'm experiencing an overvoltage issue with my 2012 Lexus LFA, gasoline engine, at 205986 km. I'm getting fault memory entries related to overvoltage, and various systems are failing. The battery also seems weak when starting. Has anyone encountered something similar?

I had a similar problem with my LFA. Are you getting any power surges? I'd check the battery first. A heavily discharged or defective battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems. A failing voltage regulator could also be the culprit.

Thanks! The fault codes definitely suggest overvoltage. How did you resolve the issue, and do you recall any specific fault codes?

I did have similar fault codes relating to high voltage, but I'm not able to remember the exact codes. I would strongly recommend taking it to a workshop. They will be able to test the battery and electrical system properly.

Thanks. I took the LFA to a workshop, and it turned out the battery was heavily discharged and defective, causing the overvoltage. Replacing the battery has resolved all the issues. The repair cost was 290€.
