Thanks for the suggestion. Is throttle body cleaning something I can do myself, or does it require specialized tools? Also, where exactly is the throttle position sensor located?

DIY cleaning is possible, but be careful! You can find guides online. The throttle position sensor is usually attached directly to the throttle body. Honestly, with an LFA, I'd be nervous mucking about. If you're unsure, a workshop visit might save you headaches – and expensive parts.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to a workshop; you were right. It was the accelerator pedal module – repair cost 205€. Thanks!

Whoa, an LFA! Jealous. Higher fuel consumption and poor starts sound familiar. I had similar grief with my old Volvo, though. Turned out to be gunk in the throttle body messing with the engine idle. Have you tried cleaning the throttle body or checking the throttle position sensor? Might be worth a shot before jumping to the pedal module.
