LFA rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Lexus LFA was experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The issue was suspected to be related to the fuel pump. However, it was suggested to check the fuel pressure sensor cable and plug connection, which turned out to be the problem. Repairing the defective connection resolved the issue, costing 95€.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is this cable and plug connection located? And how can I tell if it is defective?

Think of the fuel pressure sensor system as the brain regulating the engine's fuel system. Just like a body relies on its heart, an engine relies on fuel delivery. A defective cable connection is like mixed signals to the brain - and that leads to confusion. In your case, because the cable and plug connection are somewhat difficult to get to, I'd recommend a quick trip to the workshop. If it's that, you are probably looking at around 95€

I also own a LFA, and those symptoms do sound familiar. Check your fuel pressure sensor cable and plug connection. Is it perhaps defective?
