LFA Temperature Sensor Malfunction

Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate the help. Could you elaborate on 'similar'? Were the symptoms identical? And where exactly should I be looking for the wiring harness, perhaps relative to the front bumper or any other easily identifiable part?

Yes, the symptoms were identical: air conditioning not functioning, mirror heating always on, and incorrect temperature readings. Regarding the location, imagine the bumper as the face of the car. The sensor and the wiring harness are located behind the lower part of the 'face', usually close to the fog lights or the central air intake. However, given the complexity and the risk of damaging sensitive components, I would advise you to consult with a workshop. It may be the best solution.

Thanks. I'll take it to a workshop, as you suggested. The mechanic confirmed the cable was indeed defective, just like you said. The repair cost was 95€. All systems are now functioning correctly. I appreciate your help.

I own an LFA as well and faced a similar problem some time ago. The symptoms you describe are eerily familiar. It was like the car was convinced it was perpetually stuck in a polar vortex. Did you check the wiring harness near the front bumper? That's where the temperature sensor is located. It's like a nervous system for the car's perception of the weather, and if that's damaged, it can cause havoc with the systems you mention.
