Life radar sensor malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Honda Life is experiencing a radar sensor malfunction, indicated by an error message on the speedometer and a warning light. The issue is persistent and not weather-dependent. The problem may be due to a dirty sensor located behind the front bumper, which can be accessed and cleaned. If cleaning does not resolve the issue, recalibration by a workshop may be necessary.

Thanks for the tip! It's pretty constant, regardless of the weather. Where exactly is the radar sensor located, and is it easy to access for cleaning?

Okay, constant errors aren't great. On mine, the radar sensor was right behind the front bumper, more towards the center. You can usually see it if you crouch down and look through the grill. Cleaning it might help, but honestly, if the error is persistent, it might need recalibration. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; they sorted it out pretty quickly.

Appreciate the advice. I'll check the sensor's cleanliness first. If that doesn't fix it, a workshop visit seems like the next step. Turns out, it was just a dirty sensor. Cost me 45€ to get it cleaned properly.

Hey! I had something similar happen on my Life, though I can't remember the exact year. Was getting weird errors, especially with the driving assistance. Does it happen all the time, or only in certain weather? Have you checked if the sensor itself is clean? It's usually behind the front bumper.
