Hey, that sounds just like my problem. Do you still have any idea what you had to pay the garage to replace the microprocessor? Has anything else come up so far or is your Astra now running without any problems? Thank you! Best regards

Hi, yes, still fresh in my mind, the whole thing cost me €315 to repair the battery sensor microprocessor. But don't worry, that was it. Since the visit to the mechanic, the fault in the battery sensor has been rectified and my Astra no longer plays stunts. Everything now runs smoothly and without any further problems. So, go to the garage, they're sure to fix it on your Vectra too! Best regards!

Hi, that's a lot of bills, but as they say, better an end with a scare than a scare without an end, right? I'll take it to the mechanic and see what he says. Hopefully they'll have a solution and I can continue to drive around in my Vectra. Thanks again for the help, it was a great help! See you then and best regards!

Hello, I drive a 2001 Opel Astra, and I had the same problem. In my case, the battery sensor microprocessor was actually defective. The symptoms were pretty much identical to yours: lights were flickering and the battery was weak when starting. That's a serious problem. At my garage, the microprocessor had to be replaced as it was no longer working correctly. It took a while, but everything worked perfectly again afterwards. So don't worry, it's manageable and you're not the only one to have problems like this. Best regards!
