The error message is persistent. The brake pedal feels harder to press, requiring more force than usual. Did yours behave similarly?

Yes, the symptoms you're experiencing are almost identical to what I went through. The hard pedal feel and constant error message are concerning. I strongly recommend taking it to a trusted workshop because continuing to drive with compromised brakes is not worth the risk. In my case, it ended up being a faulty sensor, leading to ABS malfunctioning.

I appreciate your insight. Based on your advice, I took the car to a workshop. Turns out, my initial suspicion was correct! The brake booster pressure sensor had failed due to an incorrect bleeding procedure. The total repair cost, including the new sensor and labor, came to 90€. Thanks again for your help!

I also have a Fiat Linea. The symptoms you describe sound familiar to a problem I encountered. Was the error message constantly on, or did it appear intermittently? Did you notice any change in the brake pedal feel besides the reduced effectiveness?
