Linea headlight range control fault
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Fiat Linea diesel is experiencing a headlight range control fault, causing the low beams to misalign. The issue may be due to a faulty servomotor, as suggested by a similar past experience. Checking the electrical connectors for corrosion is recommended, but if the problem persists, professional diagnosis and potential servomotor replacement might be necessary.

Good shout on the connectors, I'll give them a look. When you had the issue, was it consistent or intermittent? And did you manage to fix it yourself, or was it a job for the pros?

Mine was intermittent at first, then became a full-blown disco show with the headlights. I tried cleaning the connectors, but no luck. Eventually, I caved and took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the servomotor and, unfortunately, it needed replacing. Best to get it checked professionally.

Cheers for the heads-up! Sounds like a workshop visit is inevitable. Just got a quote for 1040€ Ouch! New servomotor it is then. At least now I know what to expect!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar drama with my Linea. Is the beam adjustment completely unresponsive, or is it just erratic? Have you checked the electrical connectors to the headlight unit? They can sometimes get corroded and cause havoc with the control module.
