Livina charge air temperature sensor error

When you say 'bad connection', did you check the sensor's plug and wiring for any obvious damage or corrosion? Sometimes it's just a loose connection. Is your temperature gauge acting strange?

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, I did give the plug a quick look, but didn't see anything obvious. I'll check for corrosion more closely. As for the temperature gauge, it seems to be working fine. Could it still be the sensor even if the gauge is okay?

Okay, so gauge is fine. Hmm, it still points to the sensor or its wiring harness. Given the hissing, it might be worth having it checked out by a workshop. They can do a proper diagnostic and pinpoint the issue. Those sensors can be tricky sometimes. I remember messing with it in my old car and almost creating even more problems.
