Livina Undervoltage Issue

I'm having undervoltage issues with my 2013 Nissan Livina with a gasoline engine, currently at 109858 km. It's hard to start, onboard systems fail sometimes, lights flicker, and the battery seems weak when starting. I think the battery might be bad. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my 2015 Opel Astra. Weak starts and flickering lights point to a power supply problem. Have you checked the battery voltage and connections? A voltage drop test might help.

Could you explain the voltage drop test? Did your Astra also show undervoltage codes? Were any codes particularly helpful?

Yes, the Astra had undervoltage codes. The voltage drop test measures voltage between the battery and electrical points while starting. A big drop means resistance, like a bad connection. It got complex, so I went to a shop.

Thanks, I'll check the battery and connections. If it continues, I'll see a technician. It turned out to be the battery and it had to be replaced, the repair cost 290€.
