Livinia ABS Lateral Acceleration Sensor Issue

Whoa, sounds familiar! I have a Livinia too, and had something similar happen. Does it feel like the vehicle stability and traction control are acting up too? My ABS light would come on randomly, and sometimes the car would feel a little unstable in turns.

Turns out it was the lateral acceleration sensor like you suspect! The workshop confirmed the control unit was indeed defective. I ended up getting it replaced, and it wasn't cheap. I'd recommend getting it checked professionally; messing with the ABS system can be risky.
