Livinia Engine Stalling IAC Valve Issue

Thanks! I did look at the IAC valve, and it seemed pretty dirty. I cleaned it with some carburetor cleaner, but the problem is still there. Where should I look for potential vacuum leaks in the intake? Are there any common spots on the Livinia that tend to leak?

Cleaning it might not be enough if the valve is faulty. Honestly, chasing vacuum leaks can be a pain without the right tools. Since you've already cleaned the IAC valve, and the stalling is still happening, I'd suggest having a workshop diagnose it. They can check the valve's functionality and do a smoke test for vacuum leaks.

You were right! I took it to the workshop, and they said the IAC valve was faulty and the intake was heavily contaminated. I had the valve replaced and the intake cleaned. It cost me around 425€, but the engine now runs smoothly. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Nissan Livinia too, and I had similar stalling issues and a check engine light a while back. Did you check the IAC valve itself for carbon buildup? That valve gets gunked up pretty easily and causes all sorts of idle speed problems. Could also be a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake system.
