(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Mercedes SL Class Diesel is experiencing excessive body roll and uneven ride height, potentially due to air suspension issues. The problem might be linked to the air suspension compressor or faulty air bellows suspension. A recommendation was made for a reliable mechanic in Stuttgart, who previously resolved similar issues effectively. The repair cost for a similar problem was around €590, and the solution was successful in eliminating the issue.

Hey, interesting that you had the same problem, it reassures me a bit. Do you remember what you had to pay for the repair? And have you had any other problems since then or did everything go smoothly? Best regards!

Hi, after I carried out the mechanical repair, everything went like clockwork. The defect in the air suspension compressor was fixed and there have been no major problems since. All in all, I had to fork out €590 for the repair of the defective air suspension. But it was definitely worth it, if you ask me. Jürgen did a great job. Hope that helps you. All the best, buddy!

Hi, that's really useful information, thank you. 590€ seems reasonable to me if it solves the problem for good. I will contact Jürgen in Stuttgart and hope he can help me get rid of this annoying rocking. Thanks again for the help. You have helped me a lot! Best regards!

Hi, I have a 2017 Mercedes S Class diesel and had practically the same problem with the bouncing and the uneven ride height. In my case it was actually the air bellows suspension that was faulty. It was quite an effort to change the part, but it was necessary to fix the problem. I can recommend a good mechanic, but I'm not sure if he's near you. His name is Jürgen and he has a workshop in Stuttgart. He specializes in Mercedes and has always solved my problems very reliably. Good luck with your car! Hopefully it's nothing serious.
