Hey, thanks for your answer! That's exactly what came to my mind - the sensor could be alluding to the brakes. Good to know that someone has experienced something similar with their Audi. Do you remember how much you paid for the repair? And have there been any problems since then or is your car now running smoothly?

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! Yes, so after my visit to the workshop, everything got back on track. My brakes have been completely fine since then and the warning light hasn't come on again either. I paid around €480 for the whole operation with the worn brakes and their repair. It's not the smallest sum, but safety first and since then my Audi has been running smoother than ever. So, it's best to have it checked and let's hope for the best for you and your car!

Hey, thanks again, the information is totally helpful! It's reassuring to know that your car hasn't had any problems since the repair. 480 sounds quite expensive but I totally agree with you, safety definitely comes first. I think I'll make the first appointment with the mechanic tomorrow morning and just hope it's nothing serious. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for the support!

Hey, I have a 2013 Audi A6 Diesel and recently I had similar stress with my car. During my last visit to the garage, my brakes and the sensor for the brake light were done. The warning light also came on for me. I'm not a car mechanic, but I think the light may have been triggered by the sensor. However, it was a more serious problem because the brakes were completely worn out. In your case, the brakes could also be the trigger, or the sensor could simply be going crazy. It's best to take it to a mechanic and have it checked. Such things should never be ignored. Good luck, hopefully it's nothing serious!
