Hey, thanks for the answer! My C3 now has 141782 km on the clock and had its last service about a year ago. There are no specific symptoms or warning lights. However, the key just doesn't work properly anymore, so I think it might be the antenna. But I will definitely keep the Comfort Access control unit in mind. Thanks for the tip!

I had the same problems with my Citroen C1 at around the same mileage. The key suddenly stopped working properly for me too. So it could really be the aerial. But it could also be the Comfort Access control unit. If it is, be prepared for the repair to be expensive. I would advise you to have a specialist look at it. Only then can you be sure what the problem really is. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Good luck with it!

Hello, that could indeed be the case. I will try to make an appointment at the garage and hope that they can find the fault. The repair costs are of course not ideal, but safety first. Thanks for your help and advice! I will keep you posted.

Hi, I have a bit of experience and I had a similar problem with my 2014 Citroen C1, but it was the Comfort Access control unit that broke and not the aerial. After a visit to a garage for around 600 euros, the problem was fixed. Maybe you could give me more details about your car? Does it have any special symptoms or warning lights? Then maybe I can help more. Hope this helps for now!
