Hey, thanks for your answer! That's exactly what's annoying. Did your repair cost a lot? And has your Zafira shown any other faults since then or is it now running without any problems?

Hey, no problem! So to repair the defective wiring harness, I had to fork out around €155.0. Not cheap, but since then, thanks to my mechanic, I've had no more trouble with the central locking system - the so-called functional restriction of the central locking system was gone, once and for all. It really runs smoothly now. I hope your Opel Combo does the same soon!

Great, thanks for all the information. 155€ is not cheap, but if it solves the problem for good, it seems worth the money to me. I'll start looking for a good mechanic and hope that he can fix it as well as you did. Thanks again and keep your fingers crossed!

Hello, I once had a similar problem with my Opel Zafira from 2008. The cable connection was faulty, which caused these symptoms. You say that you have problems with the central locking and the key fob, just like I did back then. On my car last time, the mechanic replaced the faulty wiring loom and repaired the cable connection. It's now as if the problem never existed. As these are electrical problems, they can sometimes be very stubborn. Still, don't worry, it's usually nothing serious, just a bit annoying. So cheer up, and hopefully your Opel will be running smoothly again soon!
