Lova central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2019 Chevrolet Lova stopped functioning, with neither the remote nor the inside button working. Initial checks showed the fuses were fine, leading to suspicions of a faulty door contact signal or defective cable/plug connection. A similar issue in another vehicle was resolved by checking the wiring harness and door switch. Following this advice, the problem was identified as a defective cable/plug connection, which was fixed by a mechanic, restoring the locking system to normal.

Interesting. Thanks for the tip! When you say wiring harness, do you mean the big bundle of wires that goes between the door and the frame? And how did you pinpoint it to the door switch specifically? Did you use a multimeter to check the continuity?

Yes, I am referring to the wiring harness between the door and the frame. I wasn't able to fix it myself, so I took it to a workshop to get it checked. They were able to determine the source of the issue quickly. I recommend you have the contact signal checked in a professional environment.

Thanks a lot for your help! Based on your experience, I took it to my local mechanic, and you were right. It was indeed a defective cable/plug connection. They replaced it, and the automatic locks are working perfectly again. Cost me 95€ Appreciate the advice!

I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra. The automatic locks went haywire, and it turned out to be a faulty door switch. The car alarm was also affected. Have you tried checking the wiring harness that goes into the door? Sometimes, wires can get damaged or connections can corrode.
