Low Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues

My 2006 Ford Eseries with a gasoline engine is throwing a low tire pressure warning. I checked the tires and they're all good. But then the ABS lamp lights up, the steering wheel starts shaking, and the power steering feels like it's fighting me! What gives? Anyone else experience this?

I had something similar happen with my Eseries. Is the tire pressure actually dropping, or is it just the warning light that's the problem?

That's the thing, the tire pressure seems fine when I check it with my gauge. So, just a faulty sensor then?

Could be a sensor, but in my case, the valve itself was defective, causing a slow leak that my gauge wasn't picking up immediately. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They diagnosed it quickly and it saved me a lot of headache.

Thanks, man. I appreciate the insight. Dropped it off at the workshop. You were right, faulty valve. New valve and recalibration of the tire monitoring system ran me 280€. Lesson learned!
