Mark X massage seat failure

My 2012 Toyota Mark X, gasoline engine, has a massage seat issue. The massage function won't activate, and the diagnostic tool shows an error in the memory. Suspect a faulty cable or plug. Anyone else experience this?

Whoa, massage seats in a Mark X? Baller! Seriously though, is it both seats or just one? And have you checked the fuses? Sometimes it's the simple stuff that gets ya. Also, any work done recently on the car upholstery?

Just the driver's seat. Fuses are fine, I already checked. No recent work on the car upholstery.

Bummer. Okay, so you've done the basic troubleshooting. Sounds like it's heading toward a deeper dive with the wiring harness or even the seat switch itself. Honestly, for a luxury car feature like that, and with an error code popping up, you might just want to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. Could save you a ton of time and frustration in the long run.

Appreciate the feedback. Ended up taking it in; defective cable/plug connection like I suspected. 95€ and it's fixed.
