Moin, Wow, that sounds like a really tough job, especially when you consider that it's only about a massage function! I've never had anything like that before, but I totally sympathize with you, it's really annoying. I'm glad that everything is working again with your Picasso. Do you remember what you had to leave at the garage back then? And has anything else come up since then or is everything really running smoothly? Thanks for your contribution and best regards.

Hey buddy, yes, I can tell you that! I paid €95 to have the cable connection repaired. Since the thing was repaired, the massage seat switch has never rebelled, everything runs like clockwork! Apart from that, everything is really fine, my Picasso still drives great. These little blemishes can be really annoying, but sometimes you just aren't lucky. Hopefully you'll soon be relieved of your problem! Cheers and see you then!

Hi there, that's a bit reassuring to hear! Of course, €95 is a lot of money, but compared to all the things that can go wrong in a workshop, it seems to me to be a worthy price for solving this problem. It's great to hear that your Picasso is now running smoothly. That gives me hope that my Berlingo will also be fit again. Thanks again for your information and have a nice evening! See you and have a good one!

Hi, from my understanding it could be a switch issue or a wiring problem. I would personally recommend checking the fuse as a first step. If you realize that’s not the problem, consulting another trusted mechanic might be the best option for you to sort out this problem. All the best!

Hi mate, I recently had a similar problem with my 2006 Citroen Xsara Picasso. It was actually a faulty cable connection/connector, which was the cause of the seat massage function failing. At first I also thought it could be the switch. But my car was thoroughly checked in the workshop at the time and in the end the culprit was this defective cable connector. It was a serious thing because it's a complicated process to repair these parts, even if it seems like it's just a small thing. You had to change the cable and make sure it was properly connected to the plug. But no worries, once fixed, everything was back to normal. Everything is now running flawlessly again with my car. Hope this helps you a bit and good luck! Regards.
