Master Central Locking Failure

Thanks for the suggestions. Which specific fuse would govern the central locking? And is there a reliable way to test the driver's side locking mechanism without dismantling the entire door?

Unfortunately, without the specific wiring diagrams for your Master, pinpointing the exact fuse is difficult; consult your owner’s manual for fuse locations or a wiring schematic. As for testing the driver's side mechanism, it's quite difficult without specialized tools. Given the symptoms and error codes, a workshop visit may be necessary. They will have diagnostic tools to isolate the fault. I assume you checked the basics?

Understood. I appreciate your input. I took it to the workshop, and as suspected, it was indeed a faulty plug connection in the security system. The repair cost 95€.

Ah, a common gremlin! Have you checked the fuse box for blown fuses? A faulty fuse could easily disrupt the entire central locking system. Also, has anyone investigated the locking mechanism in the driver's side door? Sometimes a simple mechanical failure there can cascade into electrical problems.
