Master defrost flap fault

Hi, I've got a 2011 Renault Master with a diesel engine and a strange issue. The error memory shows a fault with the defrost air distribution flap, and the heating output seems really low. I suspect a dodgy connection. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Master. The air circulation wasn't working properly, and the ventilation system seemed weak. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the HVAC unit itself? Sometimes a loose connection can cause these symptoms.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the HVAC unit located? Is it easy to get to, or will I have to remove half the dashboard?

The HVAC unit is located behind the dashboard, centrally. Unfortunately, access isn't great, and you will likely need some trim removal tools to avoid damage when disassembling parts of the dash. Given the error code and your symptoms, and to avoid further damage, a workshop visit might be the most efficient solution.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be a defective plug connection, just as we suspected. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks!
