Master Diesel Power Loss

I'm having trouble with my 2023 Renault Master diesel. It has around 160617 kilometers. I've noticed a loss of power, and the check engine light is on. I'm thinking it might be a bad throttle valve or maybe the accelerator pedal module. Anyone else seen this, and what should I do? What's the replacement cost?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Master. Reduced power and the check engine light drove me nuts. Did you notice any delay in response when you hit the gas, like the air flow was off or something?

Yes, there's a delay, especially at lower speeds. It idles fine, but struggles when I accelerate. Does that sound like your issue? Did you notice anything else?

Yep, sounds exactly like what I experienced! The engine response was sluggish, especially when trying to overtake. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself. Best bet is to get it checked at a workshop; they'll pinpoint the issue and get it sorted.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a Renault workshop. They said it was a defective throttle valve, likely from a faulty accelerator pedal module. The replacement was 265€, including labor. The engine power is back, and the delay is gone.
