Master Electric Mirror Heating Fault

I'm having trouble with the mirror heating on my 2019 Renault Master electric (67001 km). Diagnostic scan shows an error in the mirror heating circuit. I suspect a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before and know how to diagnose it?

Mirror heating issues are a pain, especially in frosty weather! Electrical gremlins are never fun. Did you check the fuse for the mirror heating circuit? A blown fuse often causes simple electrical failures like this. Also, did you check the voltage at the mirror connector itself? That will tell you if the power is even getting to the mirror.

Thanks for the suggestions. The fuse is intact. Could you explain how to test the voltage at the mirror connector and what voltage I should expect? I want to make sure I do it right.

Okay, since the fuse is good and you're getting an error code, it sounds like the problem is either in the wiring or the heating element itself. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; they'll have diagnostic tools to find the fault quickly. It could save you a lot of trouble! A proper diagnosis is key to avoid replacing parts you don't need. The repair will be about 95€.

I appreciate the advice. I'll get a qualified technician to do a thorough diagnostic assessment. I'll mention the potential wiring or heating element fault and the estimated repair cost. Thanks again for your help.
