Master rear window heating issue

Alright, need some help! My 2020 electric Master's rear window heating is totally kaput. The auto defrost isn't working either, and the windshield heating is weak. I've got 187087 km on the clock. Hooked it up to the computer, and it's throwing an error related to power supply. Could this be a battery issue? Maybe a heavily discharged or defective battery? I am not sure if this is the reason why the thermal window does not function as it should!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Master. Check your battery's health, especially its charge level. The rear window demister draws a lot of power. Is the error message related to low voltage?

Yes, the error code does seem to point towards low voltage! Did replacing the battery fix the rear window heating problem on your car or was it something else?

Yep, replacing the battery solved it for me. I'd suggest getting yours properly tested, but that error and those symptoms sound very familiar. If it's the battery, it's probably not worth messing around with yourself. A workshop is the way to go!

Awesome, thanks for the confirmation! I'll get the battery checked out properly. I feared that. I've already booked it into a workshop; they quoted me around 290€, so hopefully, that will be that. Thanks again!
