Master Solar Sensor Fault

My 2017 Renault Master diesel has a solar sensor fault and inadequate heating with 83496 km. The error is stored, and the heating is weak. I suspect a defective cable or plug. Has anyone else had this?

I had similar symptoms with my 2019 Opel Insignia diesel: a faulty ambient temperature sensor. The garage said it was fine, but I got low readings. Could the solar sensor be faulty? Is the computer giving the right voltage?

Yes, use a multimeter, or take it to a workshop. If the sensor voltage is off, that could be it. My fault was intermittent. I took it to a workshop, and they fixed it, but I'm not sure what they did.

Thanks for the guidance. Given the complexity, I'll take my Renault Master to a professional. The 95€ repair cost seems reasonable.
