Matiz blower motor failure
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Chevrolet Matiz with a gasoline engine has a non-functional fresh air blower, and an error code is stored in the error memory. The suspected cause is a failed blower motor. A similar issue was resolved by taking the vehicle to a workshop, suggesting professional inspection and repair might be necessary. A quote for replacing the blower motor is 365€, supporting the initial suspicion of a blower motor failure.

Interesting! Was it completely dead, like mine? Or just weak? Any idea what fixed it for you? Did you have to replace the whole blower motor unit?

Yeah, mine was completely dead, no air at all. I messed around with it myself for a while, but honestly, I ended up taking it to a workshop. I do not remember exactly what needed to be done, but better have it checked.

Okay, thanks for the heads-up! I was hoping to avoid the shop, but sounds like I'm heading that way. Got a quote for 365€ for a new blower motor installed, so that confirms my initial thought. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Chevy Matiz. Not sure about the year of yours, but I remember not getting any air flow. Was the most annoying thing ever on hot days!
