Where exactly are those hoses located? And which air valve are we talking about?

It's the hose connection from the pump to the valve. If the hoses look okay, it could be the valve itself. Honestly, I'd get it checked by a workshop. It's a pain to diagnose without the right tools.

Thanks, I'll check those hoses first. Took it to a shop, and it was indeed a defective hose – the connection from pump to valve. Cost 175€ to fix.

I had a similar problem with my Toyota Corolla. Check all the vacuum hoses, especially the ones connected to the air intake. Could be a split or loose connection.
