Matrix Keyless Entry Problem

My 2006 Toyota Matrix (gasoline engine) has 185879 km on it and is showing an error. The keyless entry is acting up, and I can't start the engine without the key in the ignition. I think it's a bad cable or plug to the bumper antenna. Anyone seen this before?
