Matrix OBD Readiness Check
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Hyundai Matrix owner experienced an incomplete system readiness check and persistent error messages after an OBD2 scan. The issue was likely due to the OBD readiness not being set properly. Suggestions included performing a computer reset by disconnecting the battery or seeking professional assistance. Ultimately, a workshop visit resolved the problem by resetting the OBD readiness monitors.

Thanks for the quick response! When you say 'computer reset', do you mean disconnecting the battery or something more involved?

Yep, disconnecting the battery might help, but in my case, it only worked temporarily. The error came back after a few days. I think it's best to take it to a workshop and have them properly check the OBD readiness. They can reset it correctly, or at least pinpoint if there are other underlying issues causing it.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! Took it to the workshop and they sorted it out. Turns out, it was just a matter of resetting the OBD readiness monitors. No cost, thankfully!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Matrix after a diagnostic check. Seems like the OBD readiness isn't set properly. Did you try doing a computer reset or a full vehicle inspection after the OBD read? Maybe something got messed up in the onboard diagnostics.
