Matrix tailgate hall sensor issue

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old 2012 Opel Astra. The power tailgate kept acting up, and I was getting weird electrical sensor errors. Car electrics are a nightmare! I'm no expert, but did you check the wiring around the tailgate hinges? Those wires can get damaged from constantly opening and closing it.

Yeah, I think it was a hall sensor issue too - or at least something similar that the mechanic called it. I didn't dig too deep myself. After poking around for a bit and getting nowhere, I just took it to a workshop. Saved myself a lot of headaches! They sorted it out pretty quickly.
