Maverick ABS Lateral Acceleration Sensor Fault

Turned out to be something to do with a sensor. Was the diagnostic scan specifically pointing to the lateral acceleration sensor, or just a general ABS error?

The scan was pretty specific, yeah. It said something like 'Lateral Acceleration Sensor: Defective signal' and the code pointed directly to that sensor. Did your scan show the same thing, or was it more ambiguous? And how did you eventually fix it?
