Maverick Anti-Theft Alarm Malfunction

My 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid, with 41192 km, has an anti-theft alarm malfunction. Error is stored, and the alarm is non-functional. I suspect the alarm system is erroneously coded to activate the optical locking confirmation (indicators). Thoughts?

I had something similar on my Maverick. Have you checked the alarm sensor and your battery? A weak battery can cause weird electrical issues.

Alarm sensor and battery were checked and are in good condition. Could you elaborate on the specifics of your issue?

Yeah, my alarm was going haywire - false alarms at 3 AM, the works. Turns out, the security alarm module itself was faulty. It's like a domino effect; once one thing goes wrong, the whole system fails. Eventually, I had to take it to the workshop. Might be worth checking out.

Confirmed; it was the alarm system coded to activate optical locking (indicators). Repair cost 45€. Thanks for the heads-up!
