Interesting! Where exactly should I be looking for damaged wiring? Is it easy to get to, or am I going to have to pull half the dashboard apart? I'm not super experienced with auto electrics, but I can follow instructions!

Unfortunately, on my Maverick it was difficult to diagnose without proper equipment, and the location of the damage to the wiring harness was hard to reach. I had to take it to a workshop to get it fixed, since it required specific tools and knowledge. I would suggest going to the workshop. It could save you a lot of time and frustration.

Thanks a lot for the tip! I took it to my local shop, and you were spot on. Turns out the blower motor was defective and needed to be replaced. Cost me 365€ all in. At least I have AC again! Thanks for the help!

I had a similar problem with my Maverick. The air conditioning stopped blowing air and I also got an error code. In my case the wiring to the blower motor was damaged. Have you checked the electrical wiring and connections to the blower motor? Maybe that's the problem.
