Accelerator pedal module, huh? I hadn't considered that. How did you confirm that was the issue?

Well, I initially suspected the control valve but after testing the throttle position sensor and checking for any engine idle issues, the workshop told me that the accelerator pedal module was faulty. It's worth getting it checked professionally to be sure.

Thanks for the insight! I'll take it to a workshop, as you suggested. Turns out it was indeed the accelerator pedal module. Got it replaced for 205€. Runs like a charm now.

I had a similar problem with my old Renault Megane. Higher fuel consumption and poor starting were the first signs. Have you checked the accelerator pedal module? That was the culprit in my case.
