Maverick Tire Pressure Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Ford Maverick diesel is experiencing a constant tire pressure warning light and a speedometer error, with error codes indicating a tire pressure sensor fault. The likely cause is suspected to be a dead sensor battery, given the vehicle's mileage of 139,669 km. The suggested solution is to replace the faulty sensor, which aligns with similar experiences from others. Booking a workshop appointment for sensor replacement is recommended.

It's a general warning, not specific. All tires are properly inflated. So, if it's not a flat tire, what else could it be?

If all tires are properly inflated and it's not specifying a sensor, I'd guess the sensor battery is the problem, as you thought. With that mileage, it's likely. I had to take mine to a workshop to get all four sensors replaced.

Thanks! That confirms my suspicions. I appreciate the insight. I'll book it in at the workshop; they quoted me around 280€ to replace the faulty sensor.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Maverick. Is the error for a specific tire, or is it a general warning? Have you checked the actual tire pressures to rule out a flat?
