Maxima Reduced Engine Power

Hi, I have a 2016 Nissan Maxima with a gasoline engine. I'm experiencing reduced engine power and the check engine light is on. My mileage is at 137927 km. I suspect a defective throttle valve, maybe the accelerator pedal module or the electronics inside. Any ideas?

Interesting. I drive a Nissan Maxima too and had similar symptoms not too long ago. Did you notice any delay in engine idling or air flow response?

Yes, the engine response does seem delayed, almost like it's in a limp mode. What was the ultimate cause in your case?

That matches my experience exactly. It turned out to be a defective accelerator pedal. My advice would be to go to a workshop to confirm the diagnosis.

Thanks for the insight! You were right, the workshop confirmed the accelerator pedal module was defective and replaced it. The all-in repair came to 265€. I really appreciate your help!
