Warning light in the speedometer of the vehicle

Howdy,, Thanks for sharing your experience. It sure does give me some peace of mind. I haven't done a thorough check of the brake fluid and pads yet, so I reckon it's worth a try. Good call on that! Moreover, my Mazda recently clocked 97739 km, and it's probably due for a service soon. I hope it doesn't turn into a major issue. I'll keep you guys posted once I get it checked from my local garage. Cheers!
Hey again, No worries, glad I could help out. Yeah, you're definitely doing the right thing in getting those brakes checked, especially if it's been a while since you last had a service. I'd be willing to bet that's probably the culprit. In my experience, brake issues are not generally major ones if you catch them early—but of course, it's always better to be safe than sorry. When I had my brake problem, it wasn't a big drama really. Got it patched up real quick. Just remember not to ignore that warning light, it's there for a reason! Anyway, good luck with it all! Keep us updated, am curious how it will all pan out! Cheers!
Cheers! Your advice has indeed been helpful. I've planned a visit to the service center first thing Monday. Can't argue with you on the importance of not overlooking the warning light, it's better to nip the trouble in the bud. Will keep your words in mind. I'll certainly share here how things go post-service for everyone's benefit. Thanks again for being supportive! All the best.
Hey there, I got some little experience fixing cars, so I might be able to provide a bit of insight. Got me a 2015 Mazda 6 Diesel and had the same issue about a year ago. The problem was indeed the worn brakes, just as you guessed. Took my baby to a local workshop I trust, and the guys fixed it up for me in no time. Cost me about 480€ for everything, pretty standard for these kinds of issues. Next time you see that light, best shout is to get them brakes checked ASAP. Before you go though, have you checked the brake fluid and pads? It could give you a better idea of what you're dealing with. Cheers!
