Hey! Whoa, a wiring problem, huh? Sounds like a trip, glad you got that sorted out. Now on the coin side, do you remember the damage it did to your wallet? Just want to get a ballpark figure before I head into the trenches myself. Also, has anything else popped up since then or has it all been sunshine and rainbows? Cheers for the help!

Hey there, Ah, the cost! Always the kicker, right? For my 2021 Mazda CX-3's faulty wiring, it cost me 280.00 € to replace the defective Bass speaker. Not exactly cheap, but worth it in the end to have the tunes rocking again! Ever since I saw the mechanic, I’ve had no other surprises (knock on wood!). The limited functionality of my audio system has been working like a charm, so it seems they caught the issue well and truly. Good luck with your car saga!

Hey! Thanks a ton! The price you paid doesn't sound so bad when you consider having a silent car on a long trip, haha. It's comforting to hear that you haven't encountered any more problems. Keeping my fingers crossed that all mine will require is a mere faulty wire replacement! Cheers to smooth rides and good music!

Hey there, Can totally relate to your situation! I had a similar experience with my 2021 Mazda CX-3 recently, though my struggle was specifically with the Bass speaker, not the GPS. Started off with distortion, then one day, complete silence. Turns out, it was a pretty faulty wiring setup linking up the Bass speaker system. Had it in the garage, they ran diagnostics and it all pointed to the wiring harness. Swapping it out fixed the problem. The good news? Though it sounds like a major headache, it wasn't such a serious issue that I'd have to dump the car! So, my advice would be to get someone who knows their stuff to do a proper diagnostic on it. Probs a similar issue for yours. Just to make sure you don't end up wasting time on the wrong fix, ya know? Good luck with it!
