When you mention actuator connections, are you referring to the physical connection at the cruise control module itself, or somewhere else along the line? Also, do you remember what the actuator repair cost?

Yeah, I meant the connector directly at the cruise control module. It’s worth a look. Honestly, on the Volvo, it was a pain to get to. But once I cleaned up the pins and applied some dielectric grease, it sprung back to life! However, as for the repair cost, my mechanic charged me 85€ + VAT for about 95€. If that doesn't work, take it to the workshop.

Taking it to the workshop was the right call. It turned out to be a corroded connector, just as you suspected. A cleaning and some electrical contact cleaner later, and the cruise control is back in action. The final bill, including diagnostics and labor, came to 95€. I appreciate your help!

Sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue on my old Volvo V60, although the error codes were different. For me, the adaptive cruise packed it in. Have you checked the actuator connections themselves? On my Volvo, it turned out to be a corroded plug on the module. I bet a faulty system could be the culprit. Diagnostics are a must!
