Megane door contact issue

That sounds frustrating. I also drive a Megane, though an older one. I had a similar problem where the doors wouldn't lock properly. Have you checked the door switch itself? It might be worth a look before diving into the wiring.

Sure! My car alarm would randomly go off, and sometimes the interior lights wouldn't turn off when the door was closed. It was a faulty connection in the wiring harness that connects to the door latch. I took it to a workshop. Getting yours checked out might be best, too.
