Interesting, thanks! How did you figure out the wiring harness was faulty? Did you measure any unusual voltage drops or shorts? And where was the fault exactly?

Well, I'm no expert, but my local garage diagnosed it. They said there was a bad connection causing intermittent power to the seat adjustment motor. Definitely get it checked; those automotive seats can be tricky. If the car's battery is ok, you might want to let a trained mechanic handle the diagnostics before attempting any fix.

Thanks a lot! After checking everything, I visited the workshop. It seems the discharged battery caused some issue. They reprogrammed the SVM, and the mechanic replaced the battery. It's all working, and I'm all set. Cost me around 290€.

I had a similar problem with my Megane. Are you sure it's the battery? I initially thought the same, but the SVM wasn't properly coded, and the seat's wiring harness was faulty. Have you checked the seat wiring, especially the power seat module and the seat adjustment motor?
