Megane Electric Seat Massage Failure

My 2023 Renault Megane Electric with 75520 km has a massage function malfunction in the driver's seat. The massage setting cannot be activated, and a diagnostic scan shows an error related to the seat massage system. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

I recall a similar incident with my previous 2018 BMW 5 Series. The lumbar support adjustment failed, with a corresponding error code. Before disassembling the seat, did you check the relevant fuses? My 5 series had separate fuses for each seat function.

In my BMW, the issue wasn't a connector or wiring fault. After a workshop visit, technicians determined the lumbar support motor had failed. Given the error code, a similar component failure in your Megane can't be ruled out. Inspect the connections, but consult a qualified technician to properly diagnose the issue. The repair cost was about 95€.
