Megane Front Radar Error

I'm losing my mind. My 2022 Renault Megane E-Tech (hybrid) is showing a constant 'Check Front Radar' error. Adaptive cruise is disabled, emergency braking is failing, and lane departure is acting up. The warning light is always on. My OBD scanner says it's a radar sensor malfunction. Mileage is 74720 km. I checked for obstructions like snow, but found nothing. Maybe it's just dirty? Has anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar! I have a Megane, and I had similar weirdness with all those safety systems going haywire. Adaptive cruise packed in, lane assist throwing tantrums... the whole shebang. For me, it was also radar related.

Seriously? Was it just a dirty sensor, or something more serious? Where is the sensor located on the Megane? I want to avoid a dealership trip if it's simple.

I was fearing a sensor replacement or recalibration. But it turned out to be a dirty sensor, some mud splashed up there. My workshop cleaned it and the error disappeared. Worth checking before replacing parts, but let professionals handle it.

Fantastic! Thanks! I took it to the workshop, and it was also just a dirty sensor. They cleaned it and now it works. Cost me 45€, but better than replacing the unit.
